This article covers the following topics:
Introduction
The QA Test Settings section contains all of the settings for individual tests. It also includes a button to set tolerances, for more information on tolerances, please see the Create and Manage Baselines and Tolerances help article.
There is a search bar to search for an individual test. The search will automatically open any sections that match the search.
Each test section and test can be expanded. There are also buttons at the top to collapse or expand all sections. To expand a single section click the > symbol.
Each section or test can be preset as non-applicable (N/A) or as hidden. Hidden or NA tests are not counted towards the total count of tests on a report.
To edit settings for a particular test, click the Edit Test Settings button. When done editing, be sure to click the Save button to save any changes.
Presetting Tests
Test meta-items may be preset to a specific value and the number of rows can be preselected. If any meta-items are preset, they cannot be changed when in new QA.
The example above shows a list meta-item but any meta-item, such as a numeric or text meta-item may be preset as well. In addition table wide meta-items may be preset as shown below:
For certain preset tests, the number of measurements may be changed by selecting the number from the Raw fields dropdown.
Associating Test Equipment to a Test
One or more specific pieces of test equipment may be associated with test. Use the +Test Equipment button to associate additional equipment.
When presetting test equipment, it may be chosen from the dropdown.
To allow selection during new QA, tick the Allow Selection During Report Entry box. If allowing selection during new QA, it may be desirable to filter the available list by type of equipment and site.
Sorting Image Processing Tests
Often it is desirable to sort an image processing tests by meta-items so that the results may be grouped together. To sort a test, click the Edit Test Settings button.
Select the meta-items to be sorted. The fields are sorted from left to right so in the example above results would first be sorted by Beam Type and then by Energy in the report. Note that the results are not sorted in the new QA preview.
When done editing, be sure to click the Save button to save any changes.
